My name is Sanghamitra Subhadarsini Dash, and I am currently in my fourth year of undergraduate studies at the prestigious National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY) in India. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and I am expected to graduate in 2026.
The academic rigor and research prospects I experienced during my undergraduate studies at NIT Puducherry have sparked a strong aspiration within me to pursue a career in research. My primary area of interest lies in Biomedical Signal and Image Processing, particularly in the eld of analyzing fetal electrocardiogram (fECG) signals using signal processing coupled with AI techniques. Specifically, this involves separating fECG signals from abdominal electrocardiogram (aECG) signals and then conducting an in-depth analysis to predict potential fetal heart problems. My intensive research has resulted in publications in esteemed conferences and journals.
My ultimate goal is to pursue a career in research in the field of signal processing. My diverse cultural and academic experiences in India will bring a valuable perspective to any team. I aspire to expand my knowledge, adopt cutting-edge signal processing techniques, and pursue a successful career in research. To sum up, I believe I carry with me research experience, programming and interpersonal skills honed in the industry, and most importantly, an unquenchable passion for learning and achieving excellence.
