Tai Kiu Choi, MD, PhD
Professor of Psychiatry, Chair of Department of Psychiatry, Dean of Clinical Counselling Psychology of CHA University
Tai Kiu Choi graduated from Yonsei University where he obtained M.D and Ph.D. He did his internship, psychiatry residency and fellowship at Severance Hospital affiliated with Yonsei University. He began to work in CHA Bundang Medical Center as a professor. He also worked as a visiting scholar in University of California San Diego from 2011 to 2012. He is interested in digital therapeutics for autism spectrum disorder and other psychiatric disorders. He was awarded from Minister of Health and Welfare.
Kang Soo Lee, MD, PhD

Graduated from Yonsei University where he obtained M.D.(1999) and Ph.D (2011).
Work in CHA Bundang Medical Center as a professor from 2014.

Minji Bang, MD, PhD
Assistant Professor
Minji attended Yonsei University College of Medicine and chose to major in psychiatry after graduation. She did her internship, residency and fellowship at Severance Hospital affiliated with Yonsei University College of Medicine. Since 2018, she has been an assistant professor of psychiatry in CHA Bundang Medical Center. Her research interests are structural and functional neuroimaging of schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
IL Bin Kim, MD, PhD
Assistant Professor
Kim graduated from Hanyang University College of Medicine, where he earned his M.D. and M.Sc. He completed his Ph.D. at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Since 2024, he has been working as a psychiatrist at CHA Gangnam Medical Center. His primary research interests include genomics related to depression, anxiety, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Since 2023, he has been serving on the review board responsible for evaluating research candidates for the National Research Foundation of Korea.
Hyunju Kim, MD, PhD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry
Hyunju studied chemical engineering at Sunkyunkwan University. After graduating from college, she headed to CHA University Medical School. She had completed medical internship at CHA Bundang Medical Center and started psychiatry residency at the same hospital. She has been awarded from Korean Academy of Anxiety Disorder, Korean Neuropsychiatric Association and Korean Society of Biological Psychiatry for her oral and poster presentations.
Ji Yoon Ham, MA student

Ji Yoon studied psychology at CHA University. After graduating from college, she is majoring in clinical counselling psychology as a MA student of CHA University. She currently participates in neuroimaging research at the CLIMB.
Yoon Jung Hwang, MA

Yoon jung graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Art Therapy from CHA University and is currently involved in research at the Department of Psychiatry, CHA Bundang Medical Center.
Chanmi Son, MA student

Chanmi studied psychology at CHA University. After graduating from college, she is majoring in clinical counselling psychology as a MA student of CHA University. She currently participates in neuroimaging research at the CLIMB.
Borah Kim, MD, PhD
Assistant Professor
Borah attended CHA University Medical School and chose to major in psychiatry after graduation of medical school. She did her internship, residency and fellowship at the CHA Bundang Medical Center for 10 years and became an assistance professor of psychiatry in 2014. Her research interests are structural neuroimaging studies on depression and panic disorder, and mindfulness-based therapies for social anxiety disorder. More recently, she is planning to integrate business and medical science in order to find more practical methods for making positive impacts on patients’ lives.
Chun Il Park, MD, PhD
Assistant Professor
Chun Il attended Yonsei University College of Medicine and chose to major in psychiatry after graduation. He did his internship and residency at Severance Hospital, after that, he served as a military doctor for 3 years. He did fellowship at Severance Hospital and CHA Bundang Medical Center. Since 2021, he has been a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry in CHA Bundang Medical Center. His research interests are genetics and epigenetics in obsessive-compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorder. He has plan to research the imaging genetics in psychiatric fields.
Hoyoung Sohn, MD, PhD
Psychiatrist
Hoyoung studied physics at Korea University where he obtained B.S. degree. After graduating from college, he headed to CHA University Medical School, where he participated in neuroimaging research at the CLIMB and finally received his M.D. degree. Afterwards, he investigated neuroimaging of patients with depression and obtained his Ph.D. degree in medicine from CHA University Graduate School in 2018. He had completed medical internship at CHA Bundang Medical Center and psychiatry residency at the same hospital. He has worked on the project of neuroimaging of depression as a postdoctoral researcher. He created this homepage of the lab.

Chongwon Pae, PhD
Research Professor
Chongwon finished his Ph.D. in neuroimaging/neuroscience at Yonsei University College of Medicine under the supervision of Professor Hae-Jeong Park. He has been doing data science that integrates medical images and structured/unstructured medical data, and he is also researching brain science and precision psychiatry. Besides, he continuously researches new things to contribute to precision medicine in various fields.
