It has been a distinct privilege to represent you on the Cypress School District Board of Trustees. I have made it my utmost priority to keep students front and center. I have worked in public education for nearly 20 years in different capacities serving as a kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 5th-grade teacher. I have supported teachers as an instructional coach, and continue to build partnerships as a school site leader. Equally important, I am also a parent of a child in this district who desires for ALL children to be best equipped for their futures.
Two of the greatest accomplishments I am most proud of while serving on the School Board are:
Securing dedicated and ongoing funding for STEM and music programs for all of our students
Making learning accessible for all students during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading the way compared to our surrounding districts by offering parents and teachers a choice of schedule options such as Distance Learning, Hybrid, and Full-time in-person instruction
