Hi, I’m Sandra TW Banks, a Christian songwriter, lyricist, composer, and arranger from Brandon, Mississippi.

I wrote my first song at the age of 10, and songwriting has been my passion ever since. I believe God has called me to write songs that inspire hope, strengthen faith, and point people to Jesus.

My creative process begins with writing the lyrics and singing the entire song into the app. Through my own singing, I establish the melody, phrasing, and how I want each verse and chorus to flow. I choose the instruments and guide the arrangement to reflect the message and sound I envision.

Although I’m not an instrumentalist or professional vocalist, I use Suno and AI-assisted production tools to help develop my original songs into finished recordings. These tools help create portions of the vocals, instrumentation, and production, while some recordings also include my own voice. My lyrics, musical ideas, and creative direction form the foundation of each song.

I am a proud mother to my son, LuDerwin Banks Jr., and his wife, Kandance, and my daughter, Keshayla Banks. My grandchildren—Addyson Nicole, Samuel Isaiah, and A’Riyah Denise Banks—are among my greatest blessings and inspire me every day.

My greatest desire is to be known as a songwriter whose music honors God and encourages others. I dream of writing for and collaborating with artists such as CeCe Winans, Shirley Caesar, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Fred Hammond, and Tye Tribbett.
