Following several retirements and promotions of longtime employees in 2023, the San Andreas Department of Transportation has announced the selection of leaders for four engineering divisions at the agency's headquarters in Los Santos and Sandy Shores.
Steve Jacobi was named Division Engineer for the Bridge Division which oversees the design, inspection, maintenance and performance of highway bridges statewide. He began his career with SADOT in 1986 as an Engineer in Training and became a Professional Engineer I in the Bridge Division in 1990. He has been an Engineering Manager II in this division since 1997. Jacobi was born in Liberty City and holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. North HQ
John Leonard is the new Division Engineer for the Construction Division which provides oversight of ongoing construction projects statewide. He began his career with SADOT in 1981 and worked in several capacities at the Stillwater Residency before becoming Resident Engineer. North HQ
Scott Seiter was chosen as the Division Engineer for the Materials and Research Division, which is responsible for research programs, testing, analysis and inspection of highway construction materials to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. He joined SADOT in 1986 and held several engineering positions in the Materials Division, most recently serving as Assistant Division Engineer. South HQ
Anthony Delce was named Division Engineer for the Office Engineer Division, which oversees the preparation and evaluation of bids on construction contracts. He was previously Specifications Engineer for the agency. Delce began his career with SADOT in 1999 as an Engineer in Training with the Roadway Design Division. South HQ
