Our All-Stars program currently ranges from ages 4 to 19 years old.
Athlete placement is based on athlete evaluations. Sand Mountain Cheer will do our best to support and place your child on a team if possible; however, due to the fact that we are starting with three teams this first season, placement on a team cannot be secured without an athlete evaluation.
Team Evaluations are VERY relaxed. We evaluate the student’s current skills and to look for appropriate placement on a team based off skill set and age. We will access the students in groups of 5-20. It is a very relaxed atmosphere the entire time!

Cheer evaluations are $25, and each athlete will have to pay the required registration fee of $50.00 annually once placed on a team.
This can and will happen. Team placements are about what is best for the entire team and not based on one individual's tumbling abilities. The competition score sheet has multiple categories in addition to tumbling. Each athletes full athletics ability will be evaluated to determine their team placement.
There will be a financial breakdown provided to all interested parents/guardians prior to team evaluations. Each athlete will pay a monthly tuition fee via on an online platform (JackRabbit Account). Monthly tuition fees are $125.00/month. Athletes will also be responsible for the following financial obligations throughout the season: competition fees, uniform cost, practice wear, cheer bow, cheer shoes, makeup, travel to and from competitions, and lodging as needed.
Choreography is the elements that make up a 2.5 minute routine that encompasses jumps, stunting, tumbling, dance and etc. The choreography is normally taught on a one to three day format over the summer. Exact dates will be listed shorty after Team Placements.
The competition season runs from December-April (possibly May if post-bid is received).
