Profile

Presently, I am  R&D device engineer at IMEC, Leuven, Belgium. In past I have worked as a staff engineer in Western Digital, India where I was working on 3D NAND flash memory. And before that, I have worked as a senior device engineer at Global Foundries dealing 40 nm and 55 nm CMOS and exploratory devices. I was working to develop silicon photo-diode using standard CMOS process flow. This work targeted to use zero mask addition to the process flow.

In the past, I was a research associate at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. I have completed Ph.D on December 2016. My PhD dissertation title is "Fabrication and Characterization of Nickel-Silicide Schottky Diode Near Infrared Sensor for the Application of Methane Gas Detection". The outcomes of my research are published in peer reviewed journals and conferences, and we have also filed two patents on this subject.

I obtained B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics (Hons.) from University of Kalyani, India. I secured top 0.5% in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, 2009) Physics and pursued M.Tech in Materials Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. The title of my masters thesis was "Fabrication & characterization of GaAs based metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) device using lead-zirconiate-titanate (PZT) as high-k dielectric material".

I have served (2011-12) as lecturer in the department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering at RGUKT, Nuzividu, India. During my professional carrier, I was involved with various lab development and design of experiments and courses. Along with the academia, I enjoy trekking, playing football and cricket. I was also involved with social activities at IIT bombay.
