SANDIP MAJI 

I am employed at Shanghai University in China as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics. I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at SRM Institute of Science and Technology from July 2024 to November 2024, prior to starting my postdoctoral studies. Even before that, I graduated in July 2024 with a Ph.D. from IIT Guwahati. During the 2024 convocation, IIT Guwahati awarded me the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award in Mathematics. I was employed as a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at IISER Kolkata immediately before commencing my Ph.D. I graduated with a B.Sc. in mathematics from Midnapore College in 2016 and an M.Sc. in mathematics from IIT Madras in 2018.  I passed both the NET and GATE exams for admission to a Ph.D. program and qualified for the JAM 2016 to pursue an M.Sc. at IIT Madras. Some effective numerical methods for solving fractional-order differential equations are the main focus of my study.
