Hi, I'm Fish! I started San Diego Puzzled Pint in October 2024 after moving here for grad school (evo bio) at UCSD. I started puzzlehunting in 2023 and currently hunt with my teams QUWUbits and Society of Spirits! I'm a big fan of wordplay and science-themed puzzles, and a big un-fan of cryptics.

Hi, I'm Farid! I'm also a graduate student at UCSD studying literature. I've been GCing for Puzzled Pint since September 2025. Before that, I was a puzzle constructor for CMU Puzzlehunt (2021-2024). These days, I write puzzles and solve puzzlehunts with Unicode Equivalence and Society of Spirits.

In February 2025, Fish descended from the heavens to offer me what all grad students desire: unpaid volunteer work. At least this involves fun puzzles! Most of my job involves sending an email every month and writing silly announcements instead of working on my master's degree.

Hi, I'm Gary! I'm a graduate student at UCSD studying computer science. After doing Puzzled Pint for two years I've graduated to GC in September 2026. I'm pretty bad at puzzles so I don't know why they let me in but I like most logic puzzles and things that involve wordplay.
