Sand Hollow State Park
With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, one of Utah’s newer state parks is also one of its most popular. Boat, fish, and dive at Sand Hollow Reservoir, explore and ride the dunes of Sand Mountain on an off-highway vehicle, then RV or tent camp in a campground or the beach.
Living Tiny With A Wolf
Living Tiny With A Wolf is a unique and inspiring lifestyle movement that centers around the concept of minimalism, sustainable living, and the deep connection between humans and nature. Founded by adventurous couple Nicoll and Jake, this extraordinary project has gained attention for its innovative approach to harmonizing human existence with the natural world.
The core philosophy of Living Tiny With A Wolf is rooted in the belief that simplicity and a reduced ecological footprint are key to achieving personal fulfillment and environmental sustainability. Nicoll and Jake, both passionate nature enthusiasts and advocates for conservation, embarked on this journey to explore alternative ways of living and to spread awareness about the urgent need to protect our planet.
At the heart of their movement is their choice to live in a tiny house, an ingeniously designed dwelling that allows them to live comfortably with minimal possessions. Constructed with sustainable materials, it harnesses solar energy for power, collects rainwater for everyday needs, and incorporates natural elements for insulation.
They currently live and travel full time in a 28 ft Outdoors RV travel trailer with my husband, Jake. They started their journey on the road in a 16 ft cargo trailer with their two dogs and wolf hybrid in 2019! Nicoll and Jake, driven by their compassion for wildlife, so they decided to make those animals as their a permanent member of their family.
Living in such close proximity to a wild animal brings unique challenges, but Nicoll and Jake have embraced them wholeheartedly. Their pets is a symbol of their commitment to nature and a living testament to the power of compassion. They spends their days exploring the wilderness, documenting their experiences through photography and writing, and sharing their profound connection with nature through various social media platforms.
Beyond their captivating story, Living Tiny With A Wolf actively promotes sustainable practices and offers workshops on minimalism, upcycling, and eco-conscious living. Nicoll and Jake believe that empowering individuals to make small changes in their lifestyles can have a significant impact on the environment. Through their workshops, they teach others how to repurpose everyday items, grow their own food in limited spaces, and adopt a more mindful approach to consumption.
Their work extends beyond the digital realm as they organize community clean-up drives, participate in reforestation projects, and collaborate with local conservation organizations. By engaging with their local community and forging partnerships with like-minded individuals, they aim to create a ripple effect of change that extends far beyond the boundaries of their tiny house.
Living Tiny With A Wolf has garnered a substantial following of nature enthusiasts, aspiring minimalists, and individuals seeking inspiration for a more meaningful existence. Through their social media presence and regular blog posts, Nicoll and Jake invite others to join their journey, offering insights into the challenges and rewards of their unique lifestyle.
In a world often consumed by materialism and disconnected from nature, Living Tiny With A Wolf stands as a beacon of hope and a reminder of the profound beauty and interconnectedness of our planet. Through their courage, resilience, and unwavering dedication, Nicoll, Jake, and their pets have shown that it is possible to live in harmony with nature, to embrace simplicity, and to forge deep connections with the creatures that share our world. In their tiny house nestled among the trees, they have discovered a life of purpose, adventure, and unbridled joy. And in doing so, they inspire us all to reevaluate our own relationship with the natural world and consider the transformative power of living with intention.
