1) Biomanufacturing Production Process & Risk analysis
Northeastern University
Using Arena, created a simulation for Biomanufacturing Production Process and Risk analysis.
Optimizing the resources available, analyzed the tasks and difficulties to obtain best quality product with less than 10% impurity in the chromatography stage.
2) Lean Implementation in Rosti AB: Improvement Opportunities and Challenges
Northeastern University
This presentation is based on a thesis paper by Masoud Bahmai.
The research presents various problems faced by "Rosti AB" in their Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) production and the challenges faced during the Lean implementation.
Here, the focus was on one of their major issues of "long setup time".
The research also throws light on "people" aspect while undergoing the transformation.
Analyzed the basics of working of Vertical Axis Wind Turbine comparing the Vertical and Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines.
Constructed a miniature "Sovanious Wind Turbine" based on complexity of construction to replicate electricity generation on a small scale.
Generated up to 38.5 mA of electricity using a DC Motor, PVC Pipes. Cardboard Sheets and a small Table fan as a source of wind for the miniature wind turbine.
