Welcome potential vendors!

Holly Days has been a Sanderson tradition for 24 years featuring 150+ vendors and student groups. We are run by teachers who volunteer their time to plan this show. All money raised is invested directly back into Sanderson to help student activities and faculty needs. Additionally, our entrance fee of $2 is donated directly to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.

Vendor Code of Conduct:

Unfortunately, we have had a few instances in the past few years that have warranted a written vendor conduct policy. This is a school fundraiser. Our volunteers for this event are Sanderson teachers, students, and parents. All of the volunteers are exactly that, volunteers.

Any vendor who is rude, aggressive, unkind, or showing any form of disrespect for the Holly Days staff, students, or other vendors will be asked to leave without any warnings or second chances. We have implemented a zero tolerance policy for these types of behaviors. The decision to remove a vendor is at the sole discretion of Will and Liz Dotts as organizers of the event. We expect vendors to be kind to all staff and other vendors at all times. If an issue arises, please calmly ask for help. We work hard to make sure all issues are remedied fairly and quickly. Our goal is to always serve our vendors in the best way possible and show nothing but kindness and respect. The staff of Holly Days expects the same from our vendors.

All vendors are required to acknowledging the new Vendor Code of Conduct before you will be allowed to participate.

New Vendor Info and FAQs

How do I apply for Holly Days?

Vendor applications will open at 8 am on August 1. We will leave it open for 48 hours before closing the application. Once we close the application, we will not reopen it. The application will be posted here and on our Facebook page. Follow our Facebook page for more info and updates! https://www.facebook.com/HollyDaysAtSandersonHighSchool

Do you require photos of my goods?

No, we are not a juried show; however, we do restrict the number of vendors we have for certain categories of goods. For example if we already have an overabundance of woodworkers, we may not be able to accept you as a vendor. We do this to help make sure we give all vendors the best chance to be successful in our show.

What is the timeline for acceptance and payment for booths?

We will inform vendors of acceptance beginning on August 15. All vendors will be informed of acceptance or if they were placed on a waitlist no later than August 31. When we send your acceptance, you will be provided a payment link. You will have 3 business days to make payment. If the payment is not made within the 3 business days, we will move on to someone on the waitlist.

Do you accept direct sales vendors?

Yes, we do but we limit to one representative per company.

Do you give preference to returning vendors?

We do! Vendors at our 2023 show will be given the opportunity to secure their booth for the 2024 show before we open up the registration for new vendors. It is part of what makes us unique! Because we offer this incentive, we generally do not have an overabundance of available booths during new vendor registration. Generally we have around 50 open booths from year to year.

Do you provide wifi and electricity?

We do! The WCPSS guest network is open and available for you to use. Additionally, we can provide electricity upon request.

Can I pick what booth I would like to have?

Unfortunately, we do not allow you to pick your booth location. We work to place new vendors in booths that work best for all the vendors in the particular area so we will not have much duplication of vendor types in one area. If you decide to come back for 2024, you will be allowed to request a new area or booth.

What happens if I have to cancel?

Any cancellations before October 31 will be refunded. Any cancellations after October 31 will not be refunded as it does take work to find new vendors to fill open spaces.

Who do I contact with questions?

You can email shshollydays@gmail.com. Please be aware that Holly Day is run by primarily by two faculty members, Will and Liz Dotts. They do have teaching responsibilities and will take a minimum of 48 hours to respond. Additionally, respond time during the summer will be extended as they are not at school, but they will get back to you as soon as possible.
