EcoEchoes Podcast, Episode 1, March 2024
Podcast interview on our study regarding the use of Participatory Value Evaluation (PVE) for eliciting individuals' preferences for health policy decisions.
Our study on the quantification of the broader welfare benefits of prevention (e.g., productivity enhancements, monetized health gains) was covered by a newspaper article in FD, a newsletter from Dutch government agency UWV, and a Studio Tegengif podcast episode with my co-author Jochen Mierau.
Our study on public preferences for policies to promote COVID-19 vaccination uptake was covered by many news outlets, including by NOS (1), NOS (2), RTL Nieuws, Telegraaf, NRC, NOS Radio 1, Trouw, Hart van Nederland and Metro, even prompting a reaction from the health minister. In the wide coverage, the study results were not always accurately represented. Therefore, Follow The Money spent a meta-article on the relation between the study and its media coverage.
