Dr Kotte Sandeep

Dr. K. Sandeep is an accomplished academician and administrator currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department at Dhanekula Institute of Engineering & Technology, where he has dedicated over 15 years to teaching, research, and institutional leadership.

He holds a strong international and domestic academic foundation. He earned his B.Tech in Information Technology from PVPSIT, Vijayawada in 2003, followed by a Master of Science (M.S. in IT) from Alpen-Adria Universität in Klagenfurt, Austria in 2010. Demonstrating a lifelong commitment to research, he completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur in 2021.

Dr. Sandeep’s career trajectory at Dhanekula Institute reflects his growth as a leader and mentor. Joining the institution as an Assistant Professor in 2011, he transitioned to Associate Professor in 2021, and quickly stepped into administrative leadership as Associate Professor & HOD in late 2022. In recognition of his academic contributions and leadership excellence, he was promoted to Professor & HOD in January 2026.

Beyond his administrative roles, Dr. Sandeep is a deeply committed mentor. His dedication to student success is recognized at the national level, having received the prestigious NPTEL "Top Performing Mentor" award for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) in 2026, as well as an NPTEL Certificate of Appreciation for his mentorship in Software Testing in 2025.
