We are located in Lockport IL.
What is the curriculum my child will have?
Our curriculum is aligned to the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines for the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards for Preschool
What are the ages of enrollment?
We can take ages 2 years old to age 5 years. Children must be potty trained prior to preschool enrollment.
Who can enroll? And do you currently have openings?
if you are an essential worker you can enroll or get on our signup list. Our openings are based upon availability of slots
What are the requirements to enroll in your daycare?
Complete Registration on website
Complete SandCastle Application
Complete Sand castle contract
complete Sand castle Diet assessment
Completed physical within 30 days of enrollment
These forms can be downloaded from this site completed and emailed to nationalcenterofeconomics@gmail.com or faxed to (815)321-0980. You files will be reviewed and someone will call you back to get you started with the enrollment process.
How much does preschool cost?
It cost $45.00 TO 60.00 per day to attend.
Can I get a voucher from CCR for my child to attend?
Yes if you qualify you may be eligible for Child care referral voucher. Please click this link to see if you qualify.
Do I still have to pay for daycare services if i am awaiting approval from CCR?
Yes you do. You are still required to pay for services when payment is due.
Will I have a co-pay if I get CCR voucher?
Yes. If you have CCR voucher, you will be responsible for your portion of the co-pay.
Is there late fees if I miss my payment date?
Yes. you will be charged a fee of $20. will be added to your invoice.
Can my child attend preschool without vacination of shots?
Initially you have 30 days to get your child vaccinated and/ or to complete the physical.
Will my child need to wear mask to preschool?
Yes. In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19, children,parents and staff are required to have a mask on while in the daycare facility.
Will my child have temperature checks?
Yes we will be doing temperature checks upon arrival to school with forehead thermometers. We require that if your child or anyone in your home is Ill or have been exposed to Covid-19 that you keep your child home and self quarantine following cdc guidelines.
Will my child be allowed to take naps at preschool?
Yes we allow a hour of quiet time daily .
Will my child be required to bring their own food?
We provide hot nutritious meals in accordance with USDA food guidance, meals are prepared daily and 1 snack. If your child requires a special diet then you can bring a specific meal for your child.
What if my child get sick at school?
We will contact you if your child becomes Ill and/or 911 if necessary. We do have an isolation room where your child will remain until they can be safely picked up however we ask that you arrange for immediate pickup. If we are unable to reach you we will reach out to the individuals that you listed on your emergency contacts form.
