Why Do We Fundraise?
Like all Littleton Public Schools, Sandburg believes in and delivers a higher standard of education to our students. We know it’s what you’ve come to expect, and for many of you, it’s why you choose Sandburg for your children. Unfortunately, the funding we receive from the state of Colorado isn’t enough to provide the level of educational support we know you’ve come to expect. So, we bridge that gap through fundraising.
Where Does the Money Go?
Every penny we raise goes directly to the school. In addition to supplementing art education, hosting community-building events, helping fund special items teachers request, furthering technology in classrooms and providing field trip assistance to families who need it, help offset the school staffing funding, provides additional classroom support and playground-lunchroom supervision.

Sandburg Out & About
Enjoy eating out with your family while also helping raise money for Sandburg. Each month we will partner with a local restaurant for this favorite Sandburg fundraising event.
Street Smarts Program
Shop, dine, enjoy services or see a movie at the Streets at SouthGlenn, then submit your receipts to earn $350 to $2,500 for your school. Street Smarts runs from August 1 through April 30. Schools earn at least five points per dollar spent.
King Soopers Card
Every time you swipe your card, put in your alternate ID, order groceries on your app, etc. you could be donating to Sandburg. A percentage of your grocery bill gets donated to Sandburg through the King Soopers Community Rewards Program.
Box Tops
No more clipping, just download the Box Top app on your phone, select your school, and when you go grocery shopping just use your phone to scan/take a picture of your receipt and the app will automatically credit our school with appropriate funds if there are any eligible items on your receipt. Our school earns $.10 for each box top turned in.
Milk Caps for Mooola
Calling all Longmont Dairy families! Collect your milk caps and drop them at school to help Sandburg collect "moola" for caps! There is a Longmont Dairy drop box located in the Sandburg breezeway (between the first and second set of doors).
Fundraising Goals
Help us reach our fundraising goal for the 2023-2024 school year! Our goal this year is to raise $70,000.
Remember your monetary contributions are tax-deductible and many companies will match your donation and double your family's giving.
