✅ We collect absolutely no personal data. Sand Sort does not require any account, registration, login, or personal information of any kind to play.

All your game progress — including completed levels, earned coins, stars, and unlocked content — is stored entirely on your device using local storage. We have no access to this data, and it is never sent to any server.

We do not collect usage statistics, analytics, crash reports, or any device identifiers. The app is fully functional offline.

2: App Permissions

The app may request the following permissions for standard gameplay operations:

🌐 Internet Access

Used only for Flutter framework technical requirements and to load Google Fonts for premium typography. No user data travels over this connection.

📳 Vibration / Haptic Feedback

Provides tactile feedback when pouring sand between tubes and on level completion. This permission does not access any data.

💾 Local Storage

Saves your level progress, stars, and coins on your device. This data stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

3: Third-Party Services

Sand Sort uses the following third-party services as part of its technical foundation. These services may collect anonymized technical data as part of their normal operation:

Google: Google Play Services — required for core Android app functionality

Google: Google Fonts — provides premium Poppins typography within the app

Flutter: Flutter framework by Google — the cross-platform engine the app is built with

4: Children’s Privacy

👤 Sand Sort is safe for all ages, including children under 13. Because we collect no personal information whatsoever, there is nothing to misuse, share, or expose — regardless of the player’s age.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, which means the app is inherently compliant with COPPA and similar children’s privacy regulations worldwide.

5: Data Security 

Because all game data is stored locally on your device, its security is determined by your device’s own security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We do not operate servers that hold your information — there is no database to breach.

We do not transmit, sell, rent, or share your information with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

6: Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.

Continuing to use Sand Sort after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
