If you want a dedicated underwater audio solution for serious laps and waterproof durability, choose SAMVEK Swimming Headphones; if you need versatile open-ear comfort for daily calls, running, and gym sessions without submersion, choose Pupabiflor Bone Conduction Headphones（Graphite.
• SAMVEK Swimming Headphones: The standout strength is its IP68 rating allowing complete immersion up to two meters deep, paired with massive 32GB internal storage for offline playback. Its trade-off is the lack of Bluetooth functionality underwater and a bulkier over-ear form factor that might feel less natural for casual desk work. This pick is for swimmers and athletes who need zero reliance on a phone while submerged.
• Pupabiflor Bone Conduction Headphones（Graphite）: The biggest advantage is its ultra-lightweight titanium frame and 12-hour battery life, optimized for all-day wear during high-movement activities like running or cycling. The trade-off is an IPX5 rating that handles sweat but cannot withstand submersion, and it lacks the massive onboard storage of the competitor. This pick is for runners, cyclists, and professionals seeking clear calls and situational awareness in dry environments.
The SAMVEK X7 model is engineered for a very specific, high-intensity use case: being fully submerged in water. You can wear these with goggles, earplugs, and a swimming cap without worry. However, there is a critical technical limitation to understand: while the device connects via Bluetooth 5.4 when you are on land, the signal cannot penetrate water. When you dive below the surface, the headphones automatically switch to MP3 mode using the built-in 32GB memory. This means you must load your own music files onto the device beforehand. If you are the type of swimmer who wants to listen to podcasts or audiobooks without dragging a phone to the poolside, this feature is indispensable.
Beyond the water, the design prioritizes safety and comfort for outdoor land-based activities. Weighing only 30 grams, the over-ear style sits securely on your head without blocking your ears, allowing you to hear traffic or other people around you. This makes it a viable option for running or cycling, though the form factor is slightly more substantial than typical bone conduction clips. The multi-function buttons are physical and tactile, making them easy to operate even with wet hands or while wearing gloves. If your primary goal is to have a reliable, waterproof music player that doubles as a headset for calls on land, this unit delivers exactly that with a robust build designed to survive splashes, rain, and sweat.

However, you should skip this product if you expect seamless wireless streaming from your phone while swimming. No amount of engineering can make Bluetooth work underwater, and the SAMVEK relies entirely on pre-loaded tracks for those scenarios. Additionally, if you prefer a minimalist, clip-on aesthetic for office use or casual walking, the over-ear design might feel too bulky compared to lighter alternatives. It is a tool built for performance in harsh conditions rather than fashion or subtle daily wear.
The Pupabiflor X3 is designed with the active commuter and fitness enthusiast in mind, prioritizing long-duration comfort and call clarity. Its construction features a flexible titanium frame that allows the headphones to adapt to different head shapes while remaining incredibly lightweight. This ergonomic approach ensures they stay secure during vigorous movements, whether you are sprinting on a track, hitting heavy bags at the gym, or commuting through a busy city. The open-ear design is not just a comfort feature; it is a safety mechanism that lets you hear ambient noise, making it ideal for road runners who need to be aware of their surroundings. Unlike the SAMVEK, which has physical buttons, the Pupabiflor utilizes touch controls, offering a sleeker interface for users who prefer gesture-based interactions over pressing mechanical switches.
For those looking for a "head phones for calls" experience, this model shines due to its integrated microphone and stable Bluetooth V6.0 connection. This extended endurance makes it perfect for long workdays where you need to take conference calls, listen to audiobooks, or manage multiple tasks without constantly hunting for a charger. The IPX5 rating provides sufficient protection against sweat and light rain, ensuring the device survives intense workouts. However, the lack of onboard storage means you are entirely dependent on your phone's connection range of roughly 33 feet (10 meters) for audio playback. If you leave your phone behind, you lose the ability to play music or take calls.
You should consider skipping this product if your activities involve swimming or frequent exposure to heavy rain and water submersion. The IPX5 rating is designed for sweat resistance, not for diving or showering. Attempting to use these underwater will likely damage the electronics. Furthermore, if you are a gamer or a musician who requires zero-latency audio syncing without a phone nearby, the reliance on Bluetooth streaming limits your options. It is a fantastic companion for dry-land sports and professional communication, but it simply does not possess the ruggedness required for aquatic environments.

In my opinion, the choice between these two devices comes down to one question: do you plan to put your head underwater? If you are a swimmer, the SAMVEK Swimming Headphones are the only logical choice because no other technology currently allows Bluetooth streaming beneath the surface. The 32GB storage ensures you never run out of tunes during a long practice session. However, for everyone else—those using sleep headphones for calls, gaming headset for calls, or general head phones for calls—the Pupabiflor Bone Conduction Headphones（Graphite offer superior value. The 12-hour battery life and titanium build make it a more comfortable companion for the modern lifestyle where you move between the gym, the office, and the street. I would buy the Pupabiflor for my daily commute and workout routine, reserving the SAMVEK strictly for pool days.
Both models support calling, but the Pupabiflor is optimized for all-day call usage with a 12-hour battery and touch controls, while the SAMVEK uses physical buttons and has a shorter 8-hour battery life.
No, the Pupabiflor has an IPX5 rating which protects against sweat and light rain but does not support submersion. Only the SAMVEK is rated IP68 for underwater use.
Yes, because Bluetooth signals do not travel through water, you must transfer your MP3, WAV, or FLAC files to the 32GB internal storage before entering the pool.
The SAMVEK uses Bluetooth 5.4 with a 33-foot range, while the Pupabiflor utilizes the newer Bluetooth 6.0 standard, potentially offering improved stability and efficiency for land-based activities.
