Welcome. I am a political economist at Princeton University. My research and teaching focus on democratization, democratic backsliding, populist voting, and econometrics/causal inference.

I received my Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge and previously held pre- and postdoctoral research positions at Princeton, Harvard, and Yale.

My research has been published in World Politics, Comparative Political Studies, and the Journal of Conflict Resolution, among other leading journals.
