Hold and slide your finger on the screen to control the samurai move, he will automatically slash all enemies when his sword line passes. Quite an interesting mechanism. You will be defeated if you fall down a cliff or get hit by an enemy attack.
If you take your finger off the screen, time seems to stop and the enemy seems to freeze. Take advantage of this to give you time to see your surroundings and find the best way.
Overall, the gameplay of Samurai Flash lacks the challenge. The levels have changed, but the difficulty doesn’t seem to have increased. The game also has no time limit or special requirements for you. Just take out all the opponents and finish, and you have reached the maximum score. After every 5 levels, the boss appears, but it is also quite easy to defeat.
If you play for too long, you may find it a bit tedious and boring with the repetitive gameplay. Your only goal is to play, save money and unlock characters and weapons. Hopefully, the publisher will soon update to add some new modes to retain players.
After each level, you will receive money depending on the number of objects you destroyed. Use that money to unlock weapons in the shop. Currently, Samurai Flash has 24 types of swords, divided into 4 categories: Classical, Epic, Legendary, Mythic.
Weapons in the game only help increase your visual experience, not affect the strength of the character. Because in the first place, all enemies can be defeated with a single slash, no matter what weapon you use. Some weapons will give you some special effects when you destroy the target.
Why do I mention the character in a separate section? Because the character has a different unlocking mechanism than the way you unlock weapons. Completing a level slightly increases the character unlocking process. After completing the process, watch an ads video to pick up the character or you can skip it. The process will run again from the beginning.
Samurai Flash offers you a relatively diverse and interesting character system. You can meet some familiar characters like Batman, Spider-Man, Iron Man, a Viking warrior, Santa Claus or a samurai.
In addition, in the shop, some characters require you to complete the level required to unlock. You can unlock it with money, or for the price with an ads video.
There are several benefits to advertising as I mentioned above. However, it’s also quite annoying and it interrupts your experience from time to time. If you are not bothered with the amount received after each level, do not hesitate to disconnect the device’s internet connection for a smoother experience.
Samurai Flash features cube-shaped 3D graphics with simple colors. But it’s also enough to make you feel comfortable every time your character’s sword cuts through the objects. The visual effects are quite smooth and realistic, making you feel relaxed.
Besides not having many challenges, Samurai Flash does not have any sound during gameplay. That makes players feel quite weird and also increases the monotony for this game.
