The App operates offline and does not require accounts, logins, or personal details. All data remains on your device unless you actively share it.
Favorited Wallpapers:
Saved locally when you "favorite" a wallpaper (never uploaded to servers).
Deleted automatically upon uninstalling the App.
Wallpaper Settings:
Your selected wallpapers are applied only to your device’s home/lock screen.
No backup or cloud sync occurs.
B. Automatically Collected Data (Anonymous & Minimal)
Usage Metrics:
Interactions with features (e.g., taps on "Set Wallpaper" or "Favorites").
Ad performance data (via Google AdMob, tied to device—not identity).
Device Information:
Android version (e.g., Android 13) for compatibility.
Language settings (to display UI in your preferred language).
C. AdMob & Advertising Data
The App uses Google AdMob for ads. AdMob may collect:
Advertising ID (AAID): Resettable identifier for non-personalized ads.
Coarse Location: Country-level data (e.g., "Japan") for geo-relevant ads.
Ad Performance: Clicks/impressions (to prevent spam).
We do NOT collect:
Your name, email, or phone number.
Precise GPS location.
Wallpaper images after setting them.
Core Functionality (Local-Only)
Wallpaper Features:
Displays preloaded wallpapers (no downloads required).
Saves favorites locally (never leaves your device).
Wallpaper Application:
Sets wallpapers via Android’s system dialog (no background access).
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Ads are non-intrusive and based on:
Device language (e.g., English ads for English users).
Generic categories (e.g., "entertainment").
Opt-out option:
Disable personalized ads via:
Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
Analytics (Crash Reporting Only)
Firebase Crashlytics:
Anonymous crash logs (e.g., app crashes when setting wallpapers).

Local Data (On Your Device)
Favorited Wallpapers:

Manually remove them, or
Uninstall the App (automatically deleted).
AdMob Data (Google’s Policies)
Anonymized ad data retained for 60 days (standard).
User Requests
To remove data:
Local App Data: Uninstall the App → All favorites are wiped.
Ad Personalization: Reset your Advertising ID via:
Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Reset advertising ID".

The App requests only these permissions:
INTERNET:
Required to load ads via Google AdMob.
Without this, ads cannot display.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE:
Checks network connectivity before loading ads (saves data).
SET_WALLPAPER:
Allows wallpaper application only via Android’s system dialog.
No access to other files or galleries.
Revoking Permissions:
Disable via Settings → Apps → Samurai Wallpapers → Permissions.
Note: INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE are mandatory for ads.
Local Processing:
Favorites and settings never leave your device.
HTTPS Encryption:
All ad/analytics traffic is encrypted.
Google Play Compliance:
Regular security audits for all dependencies.
You may:
Access/Delete Data: Uninstall the App or email us.
Opt Out of Ads: Disable personalized ads in device settings.
