Samuel Oluwakorede Oyefusi is an aspiring Ph.D. student in Robotics with research interests spanning Human–Robot Interaction, Robot Control and Learning, Autonomy for Mobility and Manipulation, Healthcare Robotics, Aerial Robotics, and Industrial Robotics. He graduated First class Honours with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in Robotics and Automation, from Pan-Atlantic University, under the supervision of Prof. Christian Bolu and Dr. Peter Onu.
Samuel has strong experience in project management, robotics simulation, mechanical design, CFD, CAD, FEA, system integration, and systems analysis. His academic and project work reflect a balance of analytical thinking, technical execution, and an interest in building systems that are reliable, efficient, and human-centered.
Beyond academics, Samuel is passionate about innovation, sustainable development, and education. He serves as a Global Ambassador for Theirworld, an UNLEASH Envoy, and a member of the Young People’s Action Team for Generation Unlimited (UNICEF Nigeria), where he drives initiatives that promote STEM advocacy and empower young people to solve real-world problems through engineering and creativity.
Motivated by purpose and a desire to make meaningful impact, Samuel aims to advance research and innovation in robotics that enhance human wellbeing, promote sustainability, and strengthen the foundation for Africa’s growth in robotics and emerging technologies.
