I am Samuel Kofi Tetteh-Baah. I have been working in the Development Data Group at the World Bank, Washington, D.C. since 2020. My research focuses on the measurement of poverty and inequality. As my main contribution, I have conducted research and analytical work underpinning the World Bank’s international poverty line, currently set at $3.00 per person per day in 2021 international dollars. I hold a PhD in development economics from ETH Zürich in Switzerland and a master's degree in development economics from the University of Göttingen in Germany. I completed my bachelor's studies in economics at the University of Ghana, Legon.
