His recent speaking engagements have included the Massachusetts Historical Society, Dickinson College, the University of Michigan, UCLA, Columbia University, the University of Winnipeg, Smith College, and the National Museum of American History. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he gave numerous online lectures through public libraries across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 

He has also recently delivered keynote addresses for professional gatherings hosted by the Vermont Historical Society and Smithsonian Institution. 

In collaboration with a New York City based non-profit, Voices in Contemporary Art, Redman has co-led Artist Interview Workshops for a wide variety of arts professionals at museums across the country.
