Samuele Vinanzi

Senior Lecturer (Asst. Professor) in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at the Department of Computing, Sheffield Hallam University.

Previously, Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Cognitive Robotics Lab of The University of Manchester, led by Prof. Angelo Cangelosi, on the THRIVE++ project.

I am a Computer Science engineer from Italy with a doctoral degree in cognitive robotics. My academic interests are artificial intelligence applications for cognition in autonomous humanoid robots and my field of expertise is human-robot interaction (HRI), in particular regarding emotional intelligence, trust and intention reading in shared goal scenarios. I possess higher education teaching experience and qualifications.
