Background

Samtse Hospital came into existence in the late 1960s, and it was later renovated or newly constructed to a 40-bedded hospital, inaugurated on 31st October 2016. Currently, the hospital has evolved into one of the centers for health services under Samtse Dzongkhag. Recently, the hospital has been upgraded to a 60-bedded cluster hospital.
