The USB Driver for Windows is available for download on this page. You need the driver only if you are developing on Windows and want to connect a Samsung Android device to your development environment over USB.

The Samsung Update app allows you to download and install recommended apps and drivers for your Samsung PC. It is usually preinstalled on Samsung PCs, but you can download it from the Microsoft Store if you don't see it.

In most cases, your model will automatically be detected and the list of apps and drivers will indicate what is or is not up to date. Otherwise, enter your PC's model number in the Search bar, and then choose the appropriate software version, such as Windows 11 or Windows 10 v20H2.

On your PC, select Start, and then select Settings. Select Update & Security or Windows Update, and then select Check for updates. If Windows finds updates, they will download and install automatically. In some cases, drivers may be considered an optional update, but it's recommended to install them.

Updating the drivers for your Samsung PC can be done through either Samsung Update or Windows Update. However, getting drivers for any external devices you connect to your PC is also important. Windows Update may offer these drivers as well, but may mark them as optional.

If the external device or component you are connecting happens to also be made by Samsung, such as a monitor, you may find drivers for it from our Download Center. If drivers are not available from the Download Center, then available drivers from Samsung Update and Windows Update can be used, or the drivers built-in to Windows may be sufficient.

Devices or components made by manufacturers other than Samsung may offer drivers directly from their site. See Microsoft's help article for how to install and update drivers for additional information.

I had a problem with my sound driver and so went to device manager and uninstalled Realtek (R) Audio. I had to restart my laptop to uninstall the driver and then reinstall it. Upon restarting my laptop and having the driver automatically redownload, I realised Dolby Access (that comes with the laptop) was no longer working. In fact, I would now have to purchase Dolby Access for headphones, and I can't get Dolby Access to work with my in-built speakers.

On initial boot, everything seems to be working fine, audio is playing. After running Windows Update (installing a whole list of updates) and Samsung Update (BIOS update) and restarting, audio stops working. After restart, Samsung Update does show an audio driver update, but installing/updating the audio driver via Samsung Update fails. Manual download and installation of the driver from Samsung Update does nothing either. Windows update says everything is updated, no new updates available.

When I use Windows' Troubleshoot Audio Problems (which takes forever), it says, "Restart your PC to finish installing drivers and updates", which does not solve the problem. Running the Troubleshooter again returns "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem".

When I go to Device Manager, a red/yellow triangle is shown by the Intel Smart Sound Technology BUS. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, updating the drivers, as well as disabling and uninstalling and reinstalling the device, all the while restarting in between. In Device Manager Properties for the Intel Smart Sound Technology BUS, under Device Status, it says the following:

I uninstalled every device related to audio, as marked in red in the screenshot below. Whenever prompted to "attempt to remove the driver for this device", I did so. After that, I rebooted the laptop and then used Samsung Update to reinstall the audio driver. This restored audio. Hope it works for you too. Let me know. Good luck

Anyone else found a real solution for this? Any word from samsung? It isn't right to let a 'pro' piece of hardware go without working speakers. THis is the flagship of the Samsung computers?? Need a fix. Want speakers !!

afraid to say same issue on galaxy 360 pro, was hoping it would of been fixed by now but no joy, the issue is the driver and a roll back to previous one works fine but every time you update it goes bad again,

I have an older Samsung tv model UN32EH5300 that I used to have controlled by Hubitat. I uninstalled the driver because of not being able to turn the tv on. But off worked fine. I wanted to reinstall it but now for the life of me I cant find it. I have searched the forum and cant find it. Everything I find is for 2016 and later or the links are dead. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Not intending to be dismissive. A better solution may be an external zigbee/z-wave plug with on/off. Cost is relatively low and it would also provide the means of turning the set on (on my 2015 model, if I use the plug instead of the remote to turn the set off, when I turn on the plug, the set turns on). The driver I was working on was dead-ended since I have NO MEANS of testing to see the effectiveness. I would spend hours trying to get it to work.

Samsung UD55E-b is the model. we have 20 of these to put in as 5 video walls. I am having a difficult time figuring out how to calculate the checksum. (Newbie here)

However, Annex4 and I have collaborated and created a very good serial/IP driver that works even better. It can be addressed to send the commands to specific displays. Even if those displays are serial daisy chained.

I am looking for a 1 way driver for Samsung commercial display, I only need to control power on/off and all input. Does someone have this ? I contacted Annex and they said that they don't have any driver for commercial display.
