I had the same problem, i resolved it the follow way:

when I activated the developper mode in my tv, put my address ip and restart the tv.

After go to remote device manager in Tizen studio, you do not need add the new connection, only scan and voila, you tv samsung will appear in your list, now you can connected to tv and install or create apps.

I have previously installed another file manager app but this does not seem to let me move picture files from an externally attached memory card. I would like to know of an app that will allow me to look at and move around picture files from the externally attached memory card.

I am also having this exact issue, cannot speak to manager as it coincidentally cuts off each time. I have never received such infuriating and disgusting customer service. Did you ever find out how to speak to a manager or make an official complaint?

I am currently having the same experience. It is so unprofessional. I have talked to many supervisors who are not helpful. Now, I will be talking to a manager. What is clear is that Samsung is greedy. They have great customer service if you paying them but if they have to pay you for a problem on their end - forget it. They should advertise that - we make great phones but we don't honor our agreements.

Why am I now unable to view/edit files & folders in the /Android directory at the root of my internal storage? Third-Party file managers from the Play store can request access to this folder and display the contents of /Android/data for example,...

Is there a way to format the drive from either the bios? I tried to download some third party software to format it through windows but it was unable to see the drive. Frustration levels are high after speaking to samsung today and being told its my mobo and than a rather non engaged support technician at MSI who said just return it and get another drive.. Am i wrong in thinking that if the mobo can see it and lists it in the bios and that windows has it in the device manager but not the disk manager that is not a ssd issue?

Having major problems trying to use autofill on apps or web pages. My Galaxy S22 plus is a week old and has latest software. I have followed the instructions carefully, rebooted and re-installed everything. I am aware there are other password managers and autofill systems inbuilt in Samsung like Samsung Pass and Google autofill. There are multiple settings and preferences affecting this beyond the one inside Lastpass App.

I have a paid Dropbox account and installed their password manager. It worked immediately and as expected. Whatever is hindering Lastpass is caused by the software itself, not the settings on the phone. It has taken me quite a long time to make Lastpass usable. I would hate to change it now to something else unless I have to. Any ideas?

The "Clear clipboard" setting clears single-item clipboards by copying a blank value, " ", to the clipboard. Multi-item clipboards, such as Samsung's, prove more difficult as they can store copied values beyond where 1Password can clear them. Some devices also have a clipboard manager running in the background which can retain copied values separately. While it may not work with every device or clipboard manager, we're currently working on some changes to be able to clear the clipboard in as many places as we can.

When I've had the chance to chat with our devs about this, it is certainly more complex than it appears on the surface. As you mentioned, some devices hold copied values in the clipboard manager where there may not be options to clear them other than manually. To my knowledge, this is currently the only option the Samsung clipboard manager provides. I would agree switching back and forth between keyboards to do so is less than ideal.

I'm traveling to Europe and would like to use a temporary eSim for my trip. I would like to install the eSim but I can't find the sim manager in the menu of my Samsung Galaxy S20 5G (SM-G981W).

I'm running One UI 5.1 and all the latest security patch. I looked in the Samsung website and from what I understand the feature should be available for my model.

Thanks for this! I followed the instructions and was able to access the sim manager. There was some delay when uploading the AP file but everything else worked fine. The update took just under 3 minutes to complete. fyi for the standard s20 model people, pressing volume up and volume down and then connecting to the computer while pressing the buttons for Step #13 also works.

Have you used an esim in this phone before? Do you have a dual sim tray?

Canadian model phones rarely have dual-sim. Some do. I'm not sure yours does. The fact that sim manager is not there would suggest you don't have dual sim and with that then maybe also no esim option. My phone has dual sim and has sim manager.

I recently factory reset my phone and arrived at the setup screen and after tapping the next button a message popped up "Unfortunately, Google Account Manager has stopped". I would also receive messages that other applications has stopped (google play store, samsung account, youtube, etc) however, google account manager stopping seemed to be triggered by me tapping the next button. As I am unable to pass the setup menu, I am unable to access the settings menu.

hey.. first you have to download kies 3. i tried to download it from samsung but it doesnt worked. try to download it from othe site. next you open the kies 3. theres a tools option in the tool bar and you clicked the firmware upgrade and you follow the steps. the s/n and the model one is kinda tricky. be patient with that one. follow all the steps after that and your phone will be just fine!! this method works for my phone

1) samsung easy capture manager, can not be uninstalled (nothing in control panel, nothing in the software itself), it always starts with the printer manager, but it messes up with my other capturing software. so I want it gone (you know, when it was still samsung, it was possible to uninstall, not install, or just disable it)

2) the easy printer manager the same issue... first it is automaticaly started with windows, yet it is not in the win10 autostart "manager", I can not change the installation through control panel and there is no setting in the software itself (as it used to be ... lol HP you realy screwed up).

gues I just solved the capture manager problem myself, uninstall samsung printer software and there the first step is to seleted all software that shall be uninstalled and the first was capture manager. ok at least that worked.
