PhD Candidate in Economics University of Quebec in Montreal
I am PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) with a great interest in topics related to Innovation, Technology Adoption, Productivity, Public policy, Economic Growth and Development.
In my research, I primarily develop and estimates an endogenous growth model to evaluate the welfare and fiscal implications of Patent Box (PB) regimes. In a second strand of work, I conduct a social welfare growth accounting across the Canadians provinces taking into account the contribution of population, technology and consumption growth.
In my Job Market Paper, I assess how tax credits and direct subsidies differentially shape firms' research orientation — and at what fiscal cost — when financial constraints and innovation incentives interact.
My research interests enable me to be a fellow of the Fonds de recherche du Québec — Société et culture (FRQSC), member of #communautéFRQ, and ESG UQAM Emerging Research Ambassador.
