PhD Candidate in Economics University of Quebec in Montreal
I am PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) with a great interest in topics related to Innovation, Technology Adoption, Productivity, Public policy, Economic Growth and Development.
In my research, I primarily study firms’ R&D and technology adoption decisions within an environment where technology producers are potentially different from technology users. In a second strand of work, I conduct a social welfare growth accounting across the Canadians provinces taking into account the contribution of both population and consumption growth.
In my Job Market Paper, I assess the effectiveness of R&D incentives, with particular attention to the differential impact of tax credits and subsidies on the direction of research.
My research interests enable me to be a fellow of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC), member of #communautéFRQ, and ESG UQAM Emerging Research Ambassador.
