Sam Soloman is from the San Francisco Bay Area and has a background in leadership development, urban management, and higher education. A lifelong learner himself, he enjoys challenging his limits, civic engagement, and helping other maximize their potential.
He received his first master's degree in Higher Education from UCLA in 2001 and has directed student leadership development initiatives and programs at UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, and the University of San Francisco. His interests in social justice led him to pursue a second master's degree in Urban Management at the Technical University of Berlin with the aim of promoting participatory governance, civic engagement, sustainable urban, social, and higher education development for the 21st century.
Currently, Sam is a Coro Lead LA fellow focused on public policy reform in Southern California. Prior, Sam served as a Faculty, Leadership Solutions Facilitator in the Societal Advancement group at the Center for Creative Leadership in San Diego, CA. Two highlight programs he developed and directed include year-round, coaching-based leadership solutions for the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and the McGowan Charitable Fund.
