Sampreeti Bhattacharya
Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Pacific North West National Lab (PNNL)-Computational Materials Science (Jan 2025-)
Throughout my childhood, physics, computer science and mathematics were the subjects I enjoyed learning the most. I am a theorist and my work integrates theoretical chemistry, condensed matter physics, statistical methods, and computational techniques to study condensed matter systems. I also have a keen interest in developing and applying numerical algorithms that enhance the understanding of physical phenomena through high-performance computing. As my future goals, I am interested in extending my expertise in quantum computing and quantum information science, looking forward to any research collaboration in this field!
Beyond my research, I enjoy delving into science literature and enjoy good books, music, and painting.2024-2025-Post-Doctoral Research Associate, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
