I designed this banner during a “Radiate Positivity” contest in my final semester of college. We had full creative freedom and were simply given the prompt: “radiate positivity.” I incorporated textures in the hair from different parts of the world—some taken from my own paintings—and included a range of genders and races to reflect joy and diversity. The smiles and expressions were meant to visually represent happiness and human connection.
