There are very few things as painful as having your heart broken. While there are different vareites of heartbreak, this page will focus on romantic heartbreaks. Having been a teacher for over 2 decades I've seen some pretty serious break-ups that have caused real trauma. More, you don't have to have even been together, just getting sidelined, friendzoned, or having a crush not even knowing you exist or any other variation of romantic rejection and let down can cause heartbreak. And while we all experience it a little differently the main elements are the same. Finally, I've felt it as well and the pain lasted for much too long. Hopefully some of the information here will be helpful for moving on and growing, and remember to be patient, don't do anything drastic, and if you have to live minute by minute while you heal.
