My love of music began when I started taking piano lessons at three years old. My feet didn't even touch the floor from the stool! My piano teacher, Ernest Webster, was a jazz fanatic and ingrained those funky chords into my head back when I was a young and impressionable lad. I easily grew bored of traditional music, and was instantly attracted to anything different. I was on track to be a jazz pianist, but at the age of 9 my world was shaken. Ernest Webster, my piano teacher and music inspiration, passed. I didn't know what to do without him, so I turned to what his life passion: music. This confusion and anger paved the way to the musician I am today. I started listening to all kinds of music, and developed a new passion. Instead of playing by the page, I started to make music by listening. I soon realized that piano could not capture everything that I wanted to do as a musician, so I taught my self how to sing, play the guitar, and produce. The older I got, the more I realized that in order to further convey a message, I needed to talk in two languages: English, and Music. I am an unconventional musician because of my odd mixture of modern and conventional music knowledge, but I like to think of myself as one of the first of a new age of musicians. I'm going to make legitimate change in the world through my music. Join me on my journey of a lifetime.
