Hi! My name is Sam, I'm a fourth year psychology major, neuroscience and creative writing minor here at UMaine. I am a non-traditional student (Marine Corps veteran) and will be getting married in June! Outside of the Writing Center I work as a research assistant in a lab on campus studying alcohol consumption as a function of circadian dysfunction in mice. I also work as a Behavioral Health Professional with United Cerebral Palsy of Maine and am a Crisis Text Line Counselor in training. Research and writing are my passions and I love that I can combine them here in the Writing Center!
