Q: I'm not a member, can I even attend this event?
 - A:  YES! VERY, VERY YES!!!  Being a member offers a number of perks and privlidges such as discounted Event Fees, the ability to hold an Office or be a Champion/Defender of different things, but Membership doesn't mean you cant be part of the group and have fun!  Our Non-members are equally as welcome as our members and can have just as much fun!  

Q: I  don't have any garb, can I wear my normal clothes to this event?
 - A:  We understand not everyone will have a full suit of garb just lying around, and you're welcome to put something together prior to attending an event, but if you want to try before you buy we have that covered.  We call our garb loaner set-up GOLD KEY, and we have a number of many wonderful folk across the Knowne Worlds who run these in Baronies & Shires.  Montengarde has some great GOLD KEY that you can sign out, Please contact our Gold Key in advance to let them know, then you can pick it up and change at site (but this is between you and GOLD KEY to coordinate this).  Early contact ensures you can choose garb in your size or style and that it will be set aside. There is a Sign-in and Sign-out requirement for GOLD KEY, and we ask that all loaned garb is Returned in a timely manner after the event. 

Q: Feast?  Like a big medeival  gathering for food!  Is this only for Members or Royalty?
 - A:  Feast is available at some, but not all events. It occurs only 1 evening, normally a Saturday right before the big court event.  Anyone is welcome to join and its catered by volunteers within the SCA who love to cook and prepare multi course meals.  A course is called a remove, and there can be anywhere from 3 or more!  Our event will have 3 removes, an appetizer, main course, and dessert. You can see the whole MENU here, and costs are paid at Gate.  Feast tends to have a pre-set number it can feed based on projected numbers and early pre-registrations, but a Waiting List is at gate
