Sameera Awawda

Welcome to my personal webpage.

I am associate professor of economics at the economics department, Birzeit University, Palestine.  Currently, I am the chairperson of the Economics department and the director of the Master programs of Economics, Development Economics, and Data Analytics for Business. My research interests include economics evaluation, microeconometrics, microsimulation, data analysis, project evaluation, and economics of inequality and wellbeing. I am specialized in health economics, particularly topics related to universal health coverage, financing and organization of health care systems, health insurance, and financial health protection in developing countries.
