Work "History Lesson" is on display at "Mr Lim's Shop of Visual Treasures" for at least a month. It's hard to photograph it well, so hope more people will go see the actual work.

About the artist
Samuel Chen (b.1987) is a painter and arts educator from Singapore. His work touches on themes of history, liminality, memory, and the general human experience as seen through spaces, both man-made and natural. Studied 3 years in St Petersburg on a state scholarship, in addition to holding an inutile diploma and degree in fine arts (NAFA,LASALLE). Constantly sketching, painting, and overthinking, he also devotes some time to teaching art.
