Works (SG Realia series) "Garden of Prosperity" and "Traditional Breakfast" will be exhibited at Alliance Française de Singapour, presented by Mr Lim's Shop of Visual Treasures, for our annual (so far) FOOLS group show titled "RÉVOLUTION! - A Fools' Dialogue". Thanks to Mr Lim for featuring my work (and its first rough sketch!) in the promotional material.Â
Will really be taking a break this time for 1-2 years to work out some life tasks, look forward to sharing the results when it's time!

(25.01.26)Â Works "History Lesson" and "Majulah" were exhibited at S.E.A. Focus from 23-25 January 2026, under Mr Lim's Shop of Visual Treasures.
Thanks to supporters, friends, students current and former, for your support!

About the artist
Samuel Chen (b.1987) is a painter and arts educator from Singapore. His work touches on themes of history, liminality, memory, and the general human experience as seen through spaces, both man-made and natural. Studied 3 years in St Petersburg on a state scholarship, in addition to holding an inutile diploma and degree in fine arts (NAFA,LASALLE). Constantly sketching, painting, and overthinking, he also devotes some time to teaching art.
