About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Previously, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Electrical & Computer Engineering department of Michigan State University, USA for 1 year 11 months. I obtained my B.Tech and M.Tech degrees from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India and Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India in 2012 and 2016. In between my B.Tech and M.Tech, I worked in IT firm for a year. After my M.Tech, I did research in Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, Howrah, India for 8 months on printed antenna and metasurfaces for electromagnetics applications. I work on printed antenna, metasurface for microwave, mmWave and terahertz frequencies. My research focus is on the development of the application specific devices. In December 2022, I graduated with a Ph.D from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology BHU (IIT BHU), Varanasi. I worked under the guidance of Dr Somak Bhattacharyya and Dr. Santanu Das.Â
