1. Introduction Welcome to Sambhashini. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information of our users ("Students") and content contributors ("Experts"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle audio data collected through our mobile application.

2. Microphone Usage and Audio Recording Our application requests access to your device's microphone. The way we use this data depends on your user role:

• For Students (Standard Users): We use the microphone solely to analyze your pronunciation in real-time. This audio data is processed temporarily to provide immediate feedback. We do not store, upload, or share Student audio recordings permanently. Once the pronunciation check is complete, the data is discarded.

• For Experts (Content Contributors): If you are designated as an "Expert" or "Teacher" within the app, we may record and store your audio for the purpose of creating educational content for the platform. This recording only occurs with your explicit in-app consent. These recordings are stored securely on our servers (Supabase) to be used as learning material for other students.

3. Data Security We implement appropriate technical security measures to protect your data. For Experts, audio files are stored in secure, access-controlled databases.
