HOW IT STARTED
HOW IT STARTED
Since 2018, when I was in my high school senior year, I have been interested in psychology and brain sciences. I used to read a lot of books, which left me at the end believing that research is the key to solving mental and psychological disorders.
PREVIOUS RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
My first thesis:
It was a literature review, and I tried to do further research through online forms and self-therapy application.
My first procedural case report:
Emotional Brain Activity Evaluation in Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus: a case report.
I used an Electroencephalography headset from Emotiv on a type-2 diabetes mellitus participant and I worked on data analysis.
My first collaborated paper:
Buspirone effectiveness in treating SSRI related Bruxism, a comprehensive systematic review.
It was a co-authoring systematic review paper intersecting the fields of psychology and dentistry.
My first published paper:
The role of membrane trafficking and retromer complex in Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease
It was a literature review written with the collaboration of Toufik's Medical Association research team and was published at the Journal of Neuroscience Research, Wiley.
PEER REVIEWING
I worked in manuscript peer reviewing in Frontiers, and two of the manuscripts were published.
My Frontiers loop profile:
My ORCID: 0000-0002-0759-4556
