These are special editions of my previous printmaking work. The featured pieces are called "The Looking Man" and "The Queen"

I used a small flat paintbrush with diluted crimson-red acrylic paint and tapped the brush against my opposite hand to create the "blood splatter" effect. I then took the remaining paint and poured it 4 feet above the paper to create a "bloody inkblot" effect. This was the process I used to create these Halloween-inspired editions.

I like to work when no one is around so that I can experiment with different methods and materials. The outcome of this project was very unique and I am very happy with the results. I achieved the desired "blood" effect and throwing paint was very therapeutic.
