  • Working on differential Host Transcriptome Response in Bacterial Sepsis across different ages.
  • Rapid Identification of bacterial strains through multiplex PCR in neonatal sepsis.

  • Proficient in R language and Linux operating system for scientific computing.

  • Experienced in Transcriptome data analysis. Application of Machine learning algorithms for data analysis (SVM, NN).
  • Experienced in data mining, handling big data generated from lab and also from public domain. Experienced in performing meta-analysis from public data to draw inference from already available data in the field (GEO, TCGA).
  • Experienced in creating data/ software package (in R) for reproducibility of the work done. All the data and codes are available in public domain for each manuscript (follow manuscript link).
  • Proficient in sweave, knitr, Markdown, Latex for scientific document writing.
  • Experienced in data generation in Gene expression microarray. Isolation of DNA, RNA from clinical samples, Bioanalyzer (capillary electrophoresis) for quality assessment of the nucleic acids, PCR, gel Electrophoresis, cDNA library preparation for gene expression microarray chips, gene expression microarray. Literate in basic microbiological experiments.
  • Experienced in management of lab. From sample collection to data generation to data analysis and writing of reports. Experienced with coordination with technical staffs and other lab members.
  • Been Instructor in workshops on R based transcriptome analysis, workshops on research training of clinicians.
