I fell in love with photography in middle school while shadowing the team photographer for my brothers baseball team. I got my DSLR for my 16th birthday and have been shooting with it ever since.
Sports, specifically baseball, have been a part of my life since I was born (during the '99 All Star Game). I grew up going to Reds games and University of Cincinnati football and basketball games with my family. I played softball as a kid and intramural basketball in high school and college. I score baseball games, and have since I was 9. In college I worked for Kent State Football doing social media and photography.
I love sports photography because it tells a story, every photo has a play or a stat to go along with it. I love to see the breakdown and the movement that goes into a play. One of my favorite things while learning to shoot was photographing my brothers pitching windup and breaking down the mechanics frame by frame.
While sports photography is my favorite, I have also shot lifestyle, portrait, editorial, and landscapes. You can find some samples of my work here and more on Instagram. I love sharing my work and am always looking for opportunities to get behind the lens. If you would like to work together, please fill out my inquiry form.
