Greetings! My name is Sam, and I am currently a Lecturer at the University of Oklahoma. I am originally from South Dakota where I completed my bachelor’s degree in economics and finance at Black Hills State University. After that, I moved to Washington State University where I completed my master’s degree in applied economics and my PhD in economics.

I am currently researching agricultural cartels and marketing orders, but I also have interests in agriculture, sustainability, education, labor, and environmental issues. In addition, I have extensive teaching for every grade level including both in-person and online classes. Whether it is research or teaching, my goal is always to help. As a researcher, I focuses on topics that will help my local community. As a professor, I focuses on topics that my students can use in their future careers. I truly believe economics is a wonderful field, and my goal is to show how interesting and applicable it can be to everyone!
