Pump life is not an easy life. Being a breastfeeding mom can be heard, but being a breastfeeding working mom can get even more complicated. Between working, taking care of yourself, your baby, a household, and not to mention SLEEPING it can be incredibly hard to make sure you are pumping and nursing enough to ensure a solid supply of breastmilk for your baby.

After Aria was born I nursed directly for the first month. I would also pump after nursing her to help get a small stash started for when I went back to work. At the time I used two different pump; an electric Medela PISA pump and a handheld Nature Bond silicone pump. Both had their ups and downs but both were integral when building not only supply but enough to store.
