I am broadly interested in how host-associated microbial communities contribute to host physiology, ecology, and evolution in ectothermic vertebrates, and understanding the physiological responses of ectotherms to a changing climate. I am also passionate about natural history museum collections and identifying new and innovative ways to make use of these valuable resources. I combine lab, field, and molecular methods to address my research questions.
