Ambitious 

Samantha Ali is a fourth-year student, pursuing her Honors in the Department of Journalism and Media Communication at Green University of Bangladesh. Although her hometown is Munshiganj, she currently resides in Dhaka.

She is deeply passionate about geopolitics, local politics in my country, and the influence of media on politics. Currently, she is working on academic research focusing on the role of international media in the Student-People Uprising of 2024 and also has a strong interest in climate and environmental journalism, particularly regarding the pollution of rivers in Bangladesh. Her goal is to tell the untold stories surrounding these environmental issues and raise awareness through my work.

Exploring diverse cultures is another passion of hers. She is especially intrigued by the customs, values, food, and perspectives of different religions and communities. To pursue this interest, she often travels to various places, engages with locals, and documents their histories, untold stories, and current social realities. She is currently focusing on capturing the stories of different areas in Dhaka City and other regions of Bangladesh, aiming to shed light on their rich histories and contemporary challenges.

Her love for literature, especially poetry, is boundless. She is a trained reciter and has performed at various local and national events across Dhaka.

Anchoring programs and presenting new ideas is another area of interest for her. She enjoys delivering presentations through slides or storytelling. Throughout her academic life, she has developed confidence in presenting through numerous academic presentations and by anchoring various programs at her university.

She has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills by being elected to the executive committees of multiple university clubs and organizing numerous events. Through these experiences, she discovered her ability to work tirelessly. She thrives under pressure and performs my best in challenging situations.
