BeShop  Privacy Policy

BeShop  ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") is designed to help users create smart shopping lists, manage pantry items, organize purchases, and receive shopping insights using voice and on-device intelligence.

Your privacy is important to us. We designed BeShop with an offline-first approach so that your personal shopping information stays on your device whenever possible.

Information We Collect

We do NOT collect:

• Name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Home address

• Contacts

• Shopping data on our servers

• Voice recordings

• Photos

• Payment information

Your shopping lists and pantry data remain stored locally on your device unless you choose to back them up.

Information Stored on Your Device

BeShop may store the following information locally:

• Shopping lists

• Pantry items

• Product information

• Categories

• Purchase history

• Shopping insights

• User preferences

• Premium purchase status

• Backup files created by you

This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Voice Recognition

If you use voice shopping, the app requests Microphone permission.

The microphone is activated only when you tap the voice button.

BeShop does not store or record your voice.

Voice input is used only to convert your speech into text for creating shopping lists.

Camera Permission

If you use barcode scanning, the app requests Camera permission.

The camera is used only to scan product barcodes.

Images are not stored or uploaded to our servers.

Storage Access

The app may request storage access when you:

• Export shopping lists

• Import backup files

• Restore your data

• Save backups

Your files remain under your control.

Backup and Restore

If you choose to create backups, your shopping data is saved to the location you select.

We do not receive or store your backup files.

Premium Subscription

BeShop offers optional premium features through Google Play Billing.

Purchases are securely processed by Google Play.

We do not receive or store your payment details.

Analytics and Crash Reports

Depending on the app version, BeShop may use Google services such as:

• Firebase Crashlytics

• Firebase Analytics

These services help us improve app stability and performance.

They may collect anonymous technical information such as:

• Device model

• App version

• Anonymous usage statistics

This information does not identify you personally.

Artificial Intelligence Features

BeShop may provide shopping suggestions, pantry predictions, and insights using on-device intelligence.

Whenever possible, AI processing happens locally on your device.

If future versions include optional cloud-based AI features, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are introduced.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal shopping information with third parties.

We only use trusted third-party services when necessary for:

• Processing subscriptions through Google Play

• Crash reporting

• Anonymous analytics

Children's Privacy

BeShop is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address the issue.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Because your shopping data is primarily stored locally on your device, you remain in control of your information.

We recommend keeping your device secure using a screen lock or biometric authentication.

Your Choices

You can:

• Delete your shopping data at any time.

• Revoke permissions through your Android device settings.

• Uninstall the application to remove locally stored data.

• Choose whether or not to create backups.
