Additionally, we collect information related to the benefits received, eligibility-defining parameters, and other related details.

Your information may be used to verify your identity, maintain accurate records, defining your eligibility to government schemes and services. We may also use your information to send you notifications, updates, scheme related informations newsletters, and other information related to the portal. The Single Citizen Database is used solely for the delivery of state schemes, subsidies, services, and benefits. The purpose of Integration of Samagra SCD data with other datasets such as Ayushman Bharat, the Department of Food & Civil Supplies, the Department of Forest, GAD, MPSAPS, Higher Education, Labour Department, LSK, Social Justice Department, Technical Education, MPTAASC, UADD, P&RD, Women and Child Development Department, and Property & Land Records is only to facilitate the provision of state schemes, subsidies, services, and benefits.

Your personal information is shared with your consent and as allowed under applicable laws, after following due diligence and in line with the purposes set out in this policy. We may share your personal information with government agencies and departments as required by law or to comply with legal processes. We may also share your personal information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Single Citizen Database Portal and providing related services. We ensure that any third-party service providers we work with are committed to protecting your personal information and adhere to strict confidentiality requirements in regulatory compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000; the Aadhaar Act, 2016; and the applicable laws and regulations. The Samagra Single Citizen Database does not seek details of any financial data directly from the user.

Retention of Information:

It is at the discretion of Samagra SCD/ MPSeDC, along with the consent of the local body, to allow users to opt out of the Samagra Single Citizen Database, thereby opting out of the schemes they have been registered for.
Data Privacy and Security:
The Samagra portal operates on an authorized user access basis only and does not provide open access to data. Data in the Single Citizen Database is stored securely. The database is maintained by the State Data Center, an organization under the Government of Madhya Pradesh, and follows the security protocols prescribed by MP-CERT. Security measures are designed to protect against loss, misuse, or alteration of data. Checks for deliberate intrusions and malicious attacks are conducted periodically based on standard protocols prescribed by MP-CERT and, if required, can be ascertained from CERT-In, the nodal agency for cybersecurity attacks. Please be aware that, although we endeavour to provide reasonable security for the information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential breaches. As part of our reasonable security practices, we undergo strict internal and external reviews to ensure appropriate information security encryption or controls are in place for both data-in-motion and data-at-rest within our network and servers. The database is stored on servers secured behind a firewall; access to the servers is password-protected and strictly limited. Furthermore, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login ID and password. Please do not share your login, password, and OTP details with anyone. It is your responsibility to notify us of any actual or suspected compromise of your personal information. We have preventive controls implemented to ensure you use the application on your device securely.
Changes to Privacy Policy:
We reserve the right to modify or change this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting an updated version on the Samagra Portal. Your continued use of the portal following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
